Bar Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Ensure excellent service, allocate and support staff throughout shifts to maintain speed of service and cleanliness of venue.

• Assisting in organising and running events.

• Complete daily paperwork to ensure the safe running of the venue, and for those standards to be monitored and maintained throughout the shift.

• Sourcing, ordering, stocking, & maintaining products

• Recruiting & training staff.

• General responsibility & oversight of daily pub operations, including:

• Developing & implementing operational systems & work flow;

• Ensuring security of premises & staff;

• Maintaining a clean work environment that meets HACCP standards for all endeavours.

• Scheduling rotas;

• Relaying disputes & disciplinary procedures to Head office.

• Working to the KPI’S set out

Knowledge, skills & experience

• Pub management experience

• Enthusiastic about diversity and inclusiveness

• Knowledge of budgeting and cost analysis

•  Able to demonstrate strong organisational and problem solving skills

• Able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to lead, engage and motivate the team effectively

• Able to deliver good customer service

• Attention to detail

• Understanding of operational and financial maintenance & development

• Experience in a new opening or re-launch would be an advantage

• Holding a personal license would be an advantage but not essential

• Flexible to work a varied rota Monday to Sunday to meet the needs of the business

• Fluent in English and able to communicate effectively with people at all levels

• Proof of eligibility to work in the United Kingdom
